Hello Everyone Greetings from France

I got up at 7 am on Monday all ready packed except for a few last minute things. I met the team at the Ted at 8:45 am and helped them pack the bus. I was very excited since I've never been out of the country before. The closest I've ever come was to St. Thomas, but that is still considered part of the United States.

We all pretty much stayed up and talked on the bus on the way to Dulles airport in Washington D.C. I did manage a nap before getting there. We ended up getting to the airport in plenty of time, in fact we were there an entire hour before we could check in. We were all prepared for the high secruity and getting through was easier than expected.

The flight seemed extremely long. Usually I go to sleep right when I get on a plane, but not this time. I only had little naps here and there. When we arrived in Paris, I turned to T-Green and said -brace yourself for a different culture -. I said this because I don't know when we'll ever have the chance to experience something like this again. We felt a little bit like celebrities in Paris. We had a short amount of time to catch our next flight to Nice so Air France rushed us past everyone at customs and we had to really move to make it to the gate on time.

I got a little more sleep on the next flight and by the time we arrived I woke up and we were there. Upon arriving, it felt weird since physically I was in France, but mentally I was still in the U.S. We arrived at 9 am in France, but back home it was 3 in the morning.

Before going to the hotel we got in some sightseeing. There were street vendors everywhere selling everything from fruit and vegetables to pocketbooks to wood carvings. During this time many of us got to eat at one of the many outdoor c
