CLE ELUM, Wash. - After 36 holes, the Old Dominion women's golf team sits in 13th at the Cle Elum NCAA Regional. ODU posted a 309 in the second round of the 54 hole tournament.
Charlotte De Corte, Jana Melichova and Sana Tufail all posted a five-over 77 on day two of the three day tournament. Leah Onosato carded a 78, while Abigail Portyrata finished with an 80. De Corte and Tufail are both tied for 40th in the 96-player field.
ODU will be paired with Sacramento State and Miami in the final round tomorrow beginning at 9:30 AM PT/12:30 ET off hole 10.
They are 36 strokes off the leader, Southern California and just 14 strokes off of sixth place. The top six teams from each regional will advance to the NCAA Championships on May 17-22 at the Blessings Golf Club hosted by Arkansas.
