BOWLING GREEN, Ky. --
Riding a five-game winning streak, Old Dominion travels to Western Kentucky for the final series of the regular season this weekend at Nick Denes Field in Bowling Green.

The Monarchs can clinch a bid to next week's Conference USA Tournament in Biloxi with one win this weekend or an FIU or Middle Tennessee loss.

All three games will be aired on 1310 The Power radio featuring commentary from Doug Ripley and also streamed on CUSA.tv.

Old Dominion swept Marshall last weekend at home, the first sweep over a conference foe since March of 2017. The Monarchs have won their last six series and are 13-4 in the last 17 conference games after beginning C-USA play 1-9.

At VMI on Tuesday, the Monarchs had one of their best offensive performances of the season, scoring a season-high 17 runs. Will Morgan (.310, 8 HR, 26 RBI) highlighted the night for ODU, going 5-for-5 with a home run and eight RBIs, the most RBIs by an ODU player since 2010.

Morgan along with Vinnie Pasquantino (.298, 15 HR, 51 RBI) and Andy Garriola (.325, 9 HR, 53 RBI) have provided the Monarchs with quality run production in the middle of the order.

Pasquantino's 15 home runs rank second in the conference and are the fourth-most in a single season in program history. Garriola's 53 RBIs are tied for the fourth-most in the nation among all freshmen.

At the top of the ODU lineup is Bryce Windham (.345, 3 HR, 21 RBI), who has a .469 on-base percentage and league-leading 42 walks.

The starting rotation remains the same for the WKU series. Sophomore left-hander Tommy Gertner (1-0, 3.03 ERA) starts on Friday. The Saturday and Sunday starters are to be determined.

ODU and WKU are meeting for the first time since 2016. Chris Finwood was the head coach of the Hilltoppers from 2006 to 2011.
