LEXINGTON, Va. --
Old Dominion begins the final week of the regular season with a midweek game at head coach Chris Finwood's alma mater VMI on Tuesday at 6 p.m. ET at Gray-Minor Stadium.

Tuesday's coverage includes free audio on ODUSports.com featuring play-by-play from Doug Ripley. The game will also be streamed on the SoCon Digital Network.

The Monarchs have been dominant in midweek games so far this season with a 10-2 record and a 2.61 team ERA on the mound. The lone midweek blemishes have come at Virginia and at home to No. 11 East Carolina.

ODU rides a four-game winning streak into Lexington, including a sweep of Marshall last weekend. The Monarchs have also won their last six weekend series.

Individually, Vinnie Pasquantino (.294, 15 HR, 51 RBI) and Andy Garriola (.322, 9 HR, 51 RBI) have already had seasons for the record books in terms of power production.

Pasquantino's 15 home runs are the fourth-most in program history (the school record is 20 by Ron Walker in 1997) and Garriola is three home runs and five RBIs shy of breaking the single-season freshman records.

Bryce Windham (.344, 3 HR, 20 RBI) leads the team in batting and also has a .468 on-base percentage out of the leadoff spot.

On the mound, Tuesday will likely be a staff day for ODU. As a staff, the Monarchs have a 4.65 ERA with 402 strikeouts to just 212 walks in 452.2 innings.

The VMI game begins a bit of a homecoming road trip for Finwood. Next, ODU heads to Western Kentucky, where Finwood was the head coach from 2006 to 2011.

ABOUT VMI
The Keydets are 15-37 overall and 9-15 in SoCon play. Jake Huggins (.286, 8 HR, 41 RBI) leads an offense that is averaging 5.1 runs per game. On the mound, VMI has a staff ERA of 6.78. Series History: The Monarchs lead, 46-13, but have not won in Lexington since 2015.
