ANNAPOLIS, Md. - Old Dominion University sailing qualified for the co-ed Nationals Championships with a sixth place finish at the America Trophy over the weekend.
ODU finished in sixth just five points behind fifth place Fordham.
The Division A boat of Jack Elkin, Julia Williams-Portland and Abigail Tutt was consistent throughout the weekend, placing third in the division, finishing with 11 top-10 places in 12 races. They earned one race win.
The B Division boat of Dreugh Phillips, John Glenn and Emily Harrison was not far behind, taking sixth in the division. They had 10, top-10 finishes.
