NORFOLK, Va. - Old Dominion University football completed its spring practice this morning with a scrimmage on a rainy Friday morning at Powhatan Field.
The scrimmage lasted just past an hour and a half and also featured linemen and wide receiver/defensive back one on one's.
Highlights
- The scrimmage featured a lot of specific situations, including red zone, goal line and having the offense backed up at its own one yardline.
- In the red zone portion, Matt Geiger ran in from 13-yards out for a touchdown.
- Keion White recovered one of three fumbles on the day for the defense during the rainy morning scrimmage.
- Lala Davis added a 12-yard touchdown run and Kesean Strong plunged in from three-yards out.
- Stone Smartt hit Donta Anthony for a 20-yard touchdown pass in the back corner of the end zone.
- James Valle had a pass breakup.
- Davis, Geiger and Blake Watson scored touchdowns in the goal line drill.
