FORT MYERS, Fla. – The Old Dominion women’s golf team is set to open play in the C-USA Championships on Monday, April 15 held at the Verandah Club. They are the top seed and will be paired with Charlotte and UTSA beginning on hole 1 at 8:50 a.m. Live scoring will be on Golfstat.
The Monarchs are ranked 40th in the country, which is the highest in the league.
The 2017 C-USA Champions, ODU is 14th in the country in average score, 16th in versus par, 11th in par 3 scoring and 6th in par 4 scoring. They are coming off a 3rd place finish at the LSU Tiger Classic, where Abigail Portyrata and Jana Melichova both placed in the top-10 individually.
Last season at the conference championships, ODU took third, behind UTSA and UTEP.
