NORFOLK, Va. – The Old Dominion (3-11, 0-2 Big East) lacrosse team will host Marquette (7-7, 1-1 Big East) in their Championship Effort game on Saturday, April 13 at 12 p.m.
ODU is coming off a setback against Villanova, where junior Glory Johnson scored a career-high seven goals. Johnson was also named to the Big East Honor Roll for the third time this season.
Defensively, Haleigh Wurzel made seven saves against the Wildcats. She currently has 122 saves this season.
About Marquette
The Golden Eagles are coming off a Big East win against Butler. Offensively, Grace Gabriel has scored 43 goals this season for Marquette. In goal, Julianna Horning has started each contest and has made a total of 79 saves.
Saturday's matchup will be the first meeting between the two.
