IRVING, Texas – Aaron Carver of the Old Dominion men’s basketball team earned a spot on the 2019 InTouch Credit Union Conference USA Men’s Basketball All-Academic Team on Friday afternoon, as announced by league officials.
Carver boasts a 3.47 cumulative GPA as a Civil Engineering Technology major and Engineering Management minor.
The Elizabeth City, N.C.-native is one of four Monarchs to start every game this season. He’s currently first on team for offensive rebounds (71), second on team for rebounds (177), third on team for blocks (13), fourth on team for minutes played (622) and sixth on the team for assists (28).
Carver is a C-USA Commissioner's Honor Roll and Commissioner's Medal recipient. He was named to the NABC Honors Court in 2017-18 and has been a member of SAAC for the past couple years. Last season, Carver received the team’s Paul Webb Award winner, which goes to the player who best represents ODU both on and off the court.
