"We had some great positives. 50 points in the paint. We shot 51 percent. And we had some really solid individual performances. But, their defense stifled us a little in the first half. We played to their tempo. We're going to focus on the positives, but we also have to prep for this kind of defense." - Coach McCray
Amari Young recorded her second double-double with 11 points and 12 rebounds. Mariah Adams and Aziah Hudson also finished in double figures with 10 points apiece.
ODU ends the regular season with an 11-3 home record, its best home winning percentage since 2010-11.
The Monarchs also went 10-3 in non-conference, marking the first time since 1996-97 that ODU won 10 non-conference games during the regular season. The 96-97 team went to the NCAA Championship game.
