NORFOLK, Va. – The No. 32 Old Dominion women’s tennis team (15-2) will take on No. 27 Virginia (12-5) on Thursday, March 28 at 3:00 p.m. at the Snyder Tennis Center.
The Monarchs enter Thursday’s match with a 15-2 record and winners of 12 of their last 13 matches. Earlier today, ODU’s Holly Hutchinson was named the Conference USA Athlete of the Week. Old Dominion defeated the Cavaliers last season by a 5-2 score in Charlottesville, Va.
Virginia has three nationally ranked student-athletes in singles: No. 39 Meghan Kelley, No. 68 Amber ODell and No. 108 Chloe Gullickson; while, two UVA doubles tandems are ranked by the ITA: No. 19 Kelley/Sofia Munera and No. 70 Gullickson/ODell.
