GILBERT, Ariz. -- Kristen Vick of Old Dominion field hockey was named a recipient of the 2018 Zag Field Hockey/NFHCA Division I Scholar of Distinction, the NFHCA announced on Monday.
Vick is one of just 140 Division I student-athletes to earn the recognition. The Scholars of Distinction program recognizes student-athletes who have achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.9 or higher through the first semester of the 2018-19 academic year.
A redshirt senior back, Vick started all 17 games for ODU this past season. She was a four-year letterwinner and started 45 games in her career.
