NORFOLK, Va. - Old Dominion University football practiced in full pads for the first time this spring on Saturday evening.
ODU's third practice of the spring featured position drills, seven on seven, special teams drills and team drills.
In team drills, there were several big plays on both sides of the ball.
- Messiah deWeaver completed a 20-yard pass to Darrell Brown.
- Damion Charity had a pass breakup.
- Cameron Washington and Ty-Kee McCullers had sacks.
- Parrish Gordon, Juwan Ross and Cory Jackson had tackles for loss.
- Jonah Fitzgerald tossed a 65-yard touchdown pass to Aaron Moore.
The ODU Spring football game will be on Saturday, April 13 at 3 p.m. at Powhatan Field.
