HATTIESBURG, Miss. -- The Old Dominion baseball team suffered a 14-4 loss to Southern Miss on Saturday at Pete Taylor Park.
With the win, Southern Miss (14-6, 5-0) clinches the weekend series.
Old Dominion (15-7, 1-5) had as many hits as Southern Miss (14-6, 5-0), but the Golden Eagles delivered the more timely hits to pull out the series-clinching victory.
Tommy Bell went 2-for-4 with two RBIs, while Bryce Windham and Matt Schwarz each recorded three-hit games.
The series finale is slated for tomorrow at 12 p.m. ET.
