NORFOLK, Va. - No. 28 Old Dominion women's tennis lost the doubles point but battled back to win all completed singles competitions for a 4-1 win over VCU Wednesday afternoon at the Folkes-Stevens Tennis Center.
Aleysa Yakubovich clinched the win for ODU with a 6-3, 6-2 win at No. 6 singles.
Natalia Vlasova got the Monarchs on the board with a 6-1, 6-0 triumph at No. 2 singles.
Yulia Starodubtseva was a 6-1, 6-0 winner at No. 4, while Holly Hutchinson won 6-3, 6-2 at No. 1.
VCU won the doubles point with wins at No. 2 and No. 3.
