NORFOLK, Va. - The No. 29 nationally ranked Old Dominion women’s tennis team (10-2) swept Memphis (5-6) by a 7-0 score on Saturday afternoon at the Folkes-Stevens Tennis Center. ODU won four of the possible six singles matches in straight sets.
The Tennis Monarchs are 7-0 at home so far this season and have won seven of its last eight matches.
Entering Saturday’s match, Memphis had won three in a row and four of its last five matches.

No. 29 ODU will welcome West Virginia (6-2) tomorrow, Sunday March 3 for a 10:00 a.m. start at the Folkes-Stevens Tennis Center. Admission for all is free.
West Virginia just had its four-match win streak snapped at VCU by a 5-2 score this morning in Richmond. The Mountaineers are 4-2 in away matches so far this season.
