HIGH POINT, N.C. - The Old Dominion (1-6) lacrosse team fell to High Point 17-4 on Friday night. MK Maloney led the Monarchs with two goals. All four goals for the Monarchs were scored off free position shots. 

The Panthers got out to a 7-0 lead before Lindsay Baer netted one to put the Monarchs on the board in the first half. High Point scored three more goals and the Monarchs one before the first half expired. 

In the second half, High Point scored seven goals, while the Monarchs notched two. 

Senior Katie Miller grabbed three draw controls, while Stephanie Allen and Alyssa Sebesto notched two groundballs each. 

Defensively, Haleigh Wurzel collected 12 saves for the Monarchs. 

The Monarchs were outshot, 40-10. Glory Johnson also scored a goal on the rainy night.
