NORFOLK, Va. --
 The Old Dominion women's basketball team hosts UAB and Middle Tennessee for a pair of key Conference USA contests this weekend at the Ted Constant Center. ODU hosts the Blazers on Thursday at 6:30 p.m. ET, before taking on MTSU on Saturday at 4 p.m. ET for the 17th Annual Hoops For The Cure, presented by Bon Secours In Motion Physical Therapy.

The Monarchs are 8-1 at home this season and have won seven straight at The Ted. 

Individually, Victoria Morris (13.0pts) has continued her strong play, pouring in 20 points in the loss at Rice. It was Morris' fifth 20-point game of the season and the eight of her career. Ajah Wayne (11.1pts, 8.4rebs) and Taylor Edwards (11.1pts, 4.5asts) are also averaging double figures for ODU.

Saturday's Hoops For The Cure game will feature a health fair and survivor reception, both beginning at 3 p.m. ET. The always-emotional Survivor Walk will then take place at halftime. In addition, the first 1,000 fans receive a free pink t-shirt.

ABOUT UAB (18-4, 6-3)
The Blazers, last year's regular season champion, have lost back-to-back games, falling to Rice and MTSU. UAB owns the conference's second-ranked offense with 73.9 points per game. Sharp-shooter Rachael Childress (14.1pts) leads UAB in scoring. SERIES HISTORY: ODU leads the series, 13-5.

ABOUT MIDDLE TENNESSEE (17-5, 8-1)
The Lady Raiders enter the weekend having won eight of their last nine. MTSU ranks eighth in the nation in scoring defense with 54.2 points allowed. A'Queen Hayes (15.6pts, 7.9rebs) and Alex Johnson (14.4pts) lead the offense. SERIES HISTORY: MTSU leads, 6-2, and has won the last three meetings.
