NORFOLK, Va. - The Old Dominion (1-5) lacrosse team fell to No. 25 Virginia Tech at home by a 23-3 score. Katie Miller, Glory Johnson and Lilly Siskind scored goals for the Monarchs on Wednesday afternoon.
Defensively, Haleigh Wurzel made 13 saves. MK Maloney caused three turnovers on the Hokies. Alyssa Sebesto and Stephanie Allen both picked up two groundballs.
Off the bench, Danielle Dundas earned two draw controls, while Sophia Richie led the squad with five draw controls.
Leading the way for the Hokies, Paige Petty scored five goals. Virginia Tech outshot ODU, 43-15.
