NEW YORK, N.Y. - Glory Johnson of Old Dominion lacrosse was named Big East Attacker of the Week as announced by the league Tuesday afternoon. Johnson scored nine goals and two assists on the Monarchs 1-1 week.
During her stellar week, Johnson went 3-3 in free position shots. The junior scored four goals in the setback against William & Mary and went on to score five, including the game-winning goal against Winthrop. Overall, Johnson took 15 shots and scored off six of those.
The New York native leads the Monarchs with goals (15) and points (18). Johnson is tied for 11th in the nation for most goals this season.
