LYNCHBURG, Va. –Old Dominion University men’s swimming finished in third place at the Coastal Collegiate Sports Association (CCSA) Championships with 698 points as the four-day event completed tonight at Liberty University.
Incarnate Word won for the second-straight year, accumulating 1,053.5 points, followed by Florida Atlantic with 796.5.
Graydon Tinneny finished in fifth place in the 1650 freestyle with a time of 15:53.18.
ODU earned points in the 200 backstroke as Hugo Eriksson and Neal McElhattan fished eighth and ninth, respectively.
With the top finish of the night for the Monarchs, Noah Wilkins notched a second place spot in the 100 freestyle, earning a time of 45.11.
Nathan Kimbel took fourth in the 200 breaststroke with a time of 2:03.54, while Peter Durisin and Luke Weisenstein finished eighth and ninth, respectively.
Gus Maxwell earned a seventh place spot in the 200 butterfly with a time of 1:52.04.
In the final event of the night, the 400 freestyle relay, ODU took second with the team of Connor Davis, Parker Harp, Filip Svedberg and Wilkins taking a time of 3:00.74.
