LYNCHBURG, Va. - Filip Svedberg finished in second place in the 100 butterfly to lead Old Dominion into third place at the CCSA Championships after the third day of competition at Liberty University. The final day begins tomorrow at 10 a.m. with prelims with finals starting at 6 p.m.

Svedberg swam a 48.07 in the 100 butterfly to finish .07 out of first place. Connor Davis took sixth with a 49.26.

Hugo Eriksson and Graydon Tinneny went fourth and fifth in the 400 IM respectively.

In the 100 breaststroke, Peter Durisin finished fourth and fifth as well, while Luke Weisenstein took ninth place.

In a pattern of Monarchs finishing back-to-back, Noah Wilkins and Neal McElhattan finished sixth and seventh in the 100 backstroke.

ODU is in third place with 477 points, trailing first place Incarnate Word with 709.5 points and second place Florida Atlantic with 532.5 points.
