CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- The Old Dominion women's basketball team heads to Charlotte for its lone game of the week on Saturday at 4 p.m. ET at Halton Arena.
Saturday's contest will be streamed on CUSA.tv and also aired on Famous 1310 AM with commentary from Doug Ripley.
Old Dominion is coming off perhaps its biggest victory of the season, a 70-65 win over second-place Middle Tennessee last Saturday at The Ted. The Monarchs are 8-2 in their last 10 games and 3-1 in their last four road games.
Making the win over the Lady Raiders even more impressive was that ODU was without its leading scorer Victoria Morris, who remains day-to-day with a right foot injury.
Aside from Morris, Ajah Wayne (11.7pts, 8.3rebs), the reigning USBWA National Freshman of the Week, and Taylor Edwards (11.5pts, 5.4rebs, 4.2asts) are both averaging double figures for the Monarchs.
Aziah Hudson (8.6pts), who has started in replace of Morris the last two games, averaged 19.5 points last weekend, including a career-high 23 against MTSU.
ODU is 8-5 away from home this season, including a 6-4 mark in true road games. Charlotte is 11-2 at home.
