ORLANDO, Fla. – The Old Dominion women’s golf team is set to open their spring season at the UCF Challenge from Sunday, Feb. 3 to Tuesday, Feb. 5 at Eagle Creek Golf Club. Live scoring of the event will be on Golfstat.
During the fall season, the women broke the school record for the 54-hole score with an 840 at the Golfweek Program Challenge. Individually, freshmen Jana Melichova notched a second-place finish in her first collegiate event. Melichova currently has the lowest stroke average on the team.
Joining the Monarchs in January, Leah Onosato will be competing as an individual at the UCF Challenge
10 of the 15 teams participating are ranked in the top-50 in the nation.
