NORFOLK, Va. --
 Old Dominion women's basketball action returns to the Ted Constant Center this weekend, as the Monarchs host Florida Atlantic and FIU in Conference USA play. ODU takes on FAU on Thursday at 6:30 p.m. ET followed by FIU on Saturday at 4 p.m. ET.

Both games will be streamed on CUSA.tv and aired locally on the ODU Sports Radio Network featuring commentary from Doug Ripley and Susan Montgomery.

The Monarchs are 4-1 at home this season and have scored 80+ points in two of the last three home games. Last weekend, ODU fell on the road to Marshall and Western Kentucky during the opening week of conference play.

Individually, all three starting guards are averaging double figures, led by true freshman Ajah Wayne, who leads the team with 13.0 points and 9.5 rebounds per game. Victoria Morris is averaging 11.5 points per game, while point guard Taylor Edwards is averaging 11.3 and a team-leading 4.0 assists.

Freshman forward Amari Young has also emerged as an offensive threat for the Monarchs. Young scored a season-high 16 points at WKU and is averaging 9.2 points and 8.0 rebounds in the last five games.

ABOUT FLORIDA ATLANTIC (3-12, 0-2)
The Owls opened C-USA play with lop-sided losses to UAB and Middle Tennessee last weekend. Overall, FAU has lost six straight and is averaging less than 60 points per game. True freshman Juliette Gauthier is the team's leading scorer at 10.6 points per game. SERIES HISTORY: ODU is 5-0 all-time against the Owls. Last year, the Monarchs defeated FAU, 59-54, in Norfolk.

ABOUT FIU (3-12, 0-2)
Like Florida Atlantic, FIU went 0-2 during the opening weekend of conference play with losses to Middle Tennessee and UAB. Offensively, the Panthers have been led by TaMiracle Taylor and Chelsea Guimaraes, who are both averaging 10 per game. SERIES HISTORY: ODU leads the all-time series, 6-3, and is 5-0 against the Panthers as C-USA opponents. Last year, ODU won 68-60 in Norfolk.
