CLEVELAND, Ohio - Ali Wahab was named MAC Wrestler of the Week as announced by the league Wednesday afternoon. This is the Monarchs sixth individual weekly honor of the 2018-2019 season.
The sophomore had a 2-0 weekend for ODU, including a 9-0 major decision to clinch the match for ODU over Duke, 24-17 on Sunday. To start off the weekend, the heavyweight defeated SIUE’s McKiernan by a 2-1 decision to close out of the Monarchs 28-13 win.
