NORFOLK, Va. – Head coach Angie Hind and the ODU women’s soccer team are bringing back the smash hit Monarch Soccer Sisters program on Tuesdays between Feb. 26 and April 9 (excluding week of March 12).
The six-week Monarch Soccer Sisters program teaches important values such as teamwork, diversity, and respect to girls between the ages of 6-12. Each 90-minute session (6-7:30 p.m.) teaches the girls the fun of playing soccer through skill practices and games; each session also includes a window of time where the ODU team leads a discussion on the day’s theme, encouraging group contributions from all of the girls. Each participant will have their very own ODU women’s soccer player as their “Soccer Sister”.
The $100 fee includes a t-shirt, coaching, opportunity to be a game mascot and free entry to all ODU women’s soccer spring home matches. This program is limited to the first 75 girls to sign up.
