NORFOLK, Va. --
 The Old Dominion women's basketball team hosts UTEP and UTSA in an action-packed weekend at the Ted Constant Center. The Monarchs first take on UTEP on Thursday at 11 a.m. ET and then face UTSA on Saturday at 4 p.m. ET.

Thursday's game will be the eighth annual Education Day game. Nearly 5,000 students from Norfolk Public Schools and additional local elementary schools are expected to be in attendance for what is one of the most exciting events on the ODU Sports calendar.

The Monarchs enter Thursday on a four-game winning streak and have outscored their opponents by nearly 20 points per game during that stretch. At home, ODU is 6-1 this season and has scored 80+ points in four of the last five home games. 

Sophomore guard Victoria Morris has been on a tear as of late, averaging 18 points per game during the four-game win streak. Morris is shooting 46 percent from deep during that stretch and has made three or more three-pointers in all four games. 

For the season, Morris leads the team with 13 points per game. Taylor Edwards and Ajah Wayne are also averaging double figures with 11 per game, while Amari Young has emerged during conference play, averaging over 10 per game in C-USA games.

ABOUT UTEP (4-14, 1-4)
UTEP has lost four straight entering Thursday. The Miners' lone conference win was a 73-60 victory at UTSA. Zuzanna Puc and Ariona Gill both average double figures and lead an offense that averages 58 points per game. SERIES HISTORY: ODU leads, 6-2, and has won each of the last four meetings.

ABOUT UTSA (6-11, 1-4)
The Roadrunners are coming off of an 0-2 weekend at home against UAB and Middle Tennessee. UTSA's only C-USA win came over North Texas, 57-54. Marie Benson is averaging a double-double with 17 points and 12 rebounds. SERIES HISTORY: The all-time series is tied, 4-4.
