> ODU scored 21 first quarter points and never looked back in a 77-14 drubbing of VMI.

> Rice lost at No. 10 LSU, 42-10.

> Jeremy Cox was named the Oyster Bowl MVP after rushing for 98-yards on 13 carries with two touchdowns. He also caught three passes for 17-yards.

> Matt Geiger rushed for 91-yards and three touchdowns, Kesean Strong 62-yards and two scores and BRandon Sinclair rushed for 57-yards.

> Blake LaRussa completed 15-of-20 passes for 128 yards and two touchdowns. The 128-yards is LaRussa’s lowest since taking over at quarterback against Virginia Tech.

> Jonathan Duhart and Travis Fulgham each caught TD passes. Duhart, his team leading ninth, and Fulgham recorded his eighth-straight.

> Justin Noye returned an interception for a touchdown, his second of the year, and Geronda Hall notched his second INT of the year.

Fulgham Sets Record
Travis Fulgham’s eight game streak with a touchdown catch is the longest in the FBS this season. The eight game stretch is a school record and surpassed the previous school record of six, which he set in 2016.

The FBS record for touchdown catches in a season is 13, set by Rice’s Jarrett Dillard in 2006.

Travis Fulgham and Jonathan Duhart could become the first ODU teammates to each record 1,000 receiving yards in the same season. Fulgham has 995, while Duhart has 950. Fulgham is first in Conference USA in receiving yards while Duhart is third. Duhart is tied for the conference lead in receptions.
