NORFOLK, Va. – The Old Dominion (6-3-1, 3-1-0 C-USA) men’s soccer team is set to host FAU (2-6-0, 1-1-0 C-USA) on Saturday, Oct. 6 at 7 p.m. ODU is recently coming off a 3-2 overtime win over William & Mary on Wednesday night.
In the first game of the week, Niko Klosterhalfen notched two goals, including the game-winner to outlast the Tribe. Defensively, Mertcan Akar collected five saves in goal.
Max Wilschrey still leads the squad offensively with 19 points. After Wednesday's game, Akar has 23 saves.
After sitting a game out due to a red card, Jimmy Filerman returns back to the pitch for the Monarchs.

The Owls are coming off their fourth straight loss. In league play, FAU is 1-1 with their only win coming to South Carolina in overtime. On the road, the Owls are winless. Offensively, Gonzalo Pena leads the Owls with two goals.
