NORFOLK, Va. – Jasmine Crawley of the ODU women’s soccer team was named the Conference USA Goalkeeper of the Week after shutting out North Texas, the No. 1 seed in the C-USA Tournament, on Sunday afternoon.

Crawley has now pitched six shutouts in her last seven outings. The win over the Mean Green marked ODU’s ninth shutout this season. The 16 goals ODU allowed is a new regular season program record. The previous mark was 17 by the 2006 Monarchs, who ended up winning the CAA Tournament.

Crawley’s goals against average is 0.72, after allowing just eight goals in 12 total games in net for the Monarchs.

This is the second time in four weeks, the ODU freshman keeper has won this conference honor.

Crawley and the Monarchs will be back in action on Wednesday, Oct. 31, when No. 5 seeded Old Dominion takes on No. 4 seeded LA Tech in the Conference USA Tournament Quarterfinals at the ODU Soccer Complex. The game will air on ESPN+.
