NORFOLK, Va. – The Old Dominion (9-3-2, 5-1-0 C-USA) men’s soccer team is set to host FIU (7-7-0, 5-1-0 C-USA) at the ODU Soccer Complex on Sunday at 7 p.m. for their final home match of the regular season.
The Monarchs are coming off a 2-0 win against UAB and move to 5-1 in the league. Kostas Mylonas scored both goals at UAB off the bench to notch his first goals of the season.
Senior Max Wilschrey leads the squad in points (25) by contributing 10 goals and five assists this season. Goalkeeper Mertcan Akar was recently named C-USA Defensive Player of the Week after collecting eight saves through two games last week.
Both ODU and FIU have just one loss in the conference.
