POWELLS POINT, N.C. -- The Old Dominion men's golf team concluded its fall season with a fourth-place finish at the ODU/OBX Intercollegiate at Kilmarlic Golf Club this week.
After a 18-over 302 in Sunday's tough, windy opening round, Old Dominion (+13) carded a 3-under 281 and a 2-under 282 in the final two rounds, respectively. The Monarchs finished one stroke behind third-place Drexel (+12).
Campbell (-34) won the tournament for the fourth consecutive year and UNC Wilmington (-15) finished second.
Individually, Calvin Greschner (-4) tied for fourth, the best finish of his four-year career at ODU. Gustav Fransson and (+4) and Chris Ayers (+6) also finished in the top 30 of the 92-player field. Fransson tied for 22nd and Ayers tied for 29th.
Rounding out the ODU lineup were Carter Morgan (+12, t-49th) and Doug Rios Ceballos (+18, t-66th).
Jesper Svensson (-16) of Campbell took home individual medalist honors.
