NORFOLK, Va. – The Old Dominion women’s soccer team (6-6-3, 3-3-1 C-USA) will travel to Texas for a pair of road league matches this week. On Thursday, Oct. 18 at 8:00 p.m. EST, the Monarchs will take on UTSA (5-8-1, 1-5-1 C-USA), before a Sunday, Oct. 21 showdown at UTEP (6-8-2, 1-5-1 C-USA) at 8:00 p.m. EST. Both games will be streamed on C-USA TV.
ODU enters the week tied for eighth in the C-USA standings with Rice with 10 points, while UTSA and UTEP are currently in a tie for 12th. The top eight of 14 teams after the regular season will make the 2018 Conference USA Tournament, which will be held at the ODU Soccer Complex on Oct. 31-Nov. 4.
Last Sunday against UAB, marked the fourth straight shutout for Old Dominion, as the Monarchs have not allowed a goal in their last 412 minutes of action. ODU’s last loss came on Sept. 28th.
