NORFOLK, Va. – The Old Dominion women’s soccer team (3-3-2, 0-0-0 C-USA) travels to the Lady Techster Soccer Complex for a Friday, Sept. 21 match against LA Tech (7-3-0, 0-1-0 C-USA) at 8:00 p.m. EST. On Monday, Sept. 24, ODU will host Charlotte (4-3-0, 0-0-0 C-USA) for a 4:00 p.m. start at the ODU Soccer Complex. Both games will air live on C-USA TV.
Friday night will mark the Conference USA opener for ODU after last week’s match against North Texas was rescheduled to Sunday, Oct. 28 due to Hurricane Florence.
The Monarchs are coming off a 4-1 victory against Richmond on Sunday night after receiving goals from Morgan Hall, Emily Roberts, Blair Vilov and Kira Laurento. Natalie Johnson recorded two assists and Iris Achterhof added one assist. ODU outshot the Spiders, 25-6 and held an 11-2 advantage in corner kicks.

Meet LA Tech
Last season, the Monarchs played LA Tech to a 1-1 draw in Ruston, before meeting again in the Conference USA Quarterfinals, in a match ODU would lose 2-1 in Boca Raton, Fla.
The Lady Techsters started the season winning seven of its first eight matches and enter Friday’s match with a 7-3-0 overall record. LA Tech is 0-1-0 in league play after dropping a 1-0 match at UAB last week. The Lady Techsters are 4-1 at home so far this season.
Mylene Roy-Ouellet (14 points) and Kaylee Zettler (11 points) lead LA Tech with five goals apiece, respectively.
Meet Charlotte
Charlotte enters this week with a 4-3-0 overall record. The 49ers play FIU in Charlotte on Thursday, Sept. 20. Megan Greene leads the squad in points with six after scoring two goals and dishing out two assists so far this season.
Last season, ODU downed Charlotte by a 3-2 score in the regular season finale in Norfolk.
