RICHMOND, Va. – The No. 20 Old Dominion (4-1-1, 2-0-0 C-USA) men’s soccer team is set to travel to Richmond to take on VCU (3-3-0, 0-0-0 A10) on Wednesday, Sept. 19 at 7 p.m. The Monarchs are coming off a 2-1 win over New Mexico, which marked their second C-USA win.
Senior Max Wilschrey was named C-USA Co-Offensive Player of the Week on Monday after his two-goal outing at New Mexico on Saturday. He owns eight goals through six games this season. Defensively, goalkeeper Mertcan Akar has collected 11 saves in 2018.

The Rams are currently on a two-game losing streak after falling to No. 4 Indiana 4-0 and Pitt, 1-0. Offensively, VCU’s leading scorer is Siad Haji who owns two goals through six games. They have outshot their opponents 70-65.
