NORFOLK, Va. - Old Dominion University football practice for the fifth time this fall and the first time with full pads on Friday morning.
A full two and a half hour practice saw the Monarchs work on game situations, consisting of third and fourth and short, end of game and goal line drills.
Highlights
The offense dominated the first session of the day, working on third and fourth and short scenarios. Jeremy Cox, Kesean Strong and Gemonta Jackson led the way for the offense.
During the end of game situation, the offense won a nailbiter. Steven Williams tossed a 50-yard touchdown pass to Scott McCluney, while Matt Geiger went for a 40-yard run to clinch the competition.
The offense completed the hat trick on the day by winning the goal line drill, scoring touchdowns from Williams, two from Jackson, Isaiah Spencer, and touchdown passes from Williams to Marcus Joyner and Keion White.
