LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Old Dominion University senior Isaiah Harper was named to the Paul Hornung Award Watch List. The Hornung Award presented by Texas Roadhouse is given to the most versatile player in college football.
A native of Chesapeake, Virginia, Harper was named the 2017 Conference USA Special Teams Player of the year after returning three kickoffs for touchdowns and finishing 10th in FBS with a 29.1 kick return average.
Harper led the Monarchs in receiving, recording career highs with 39 catches for 462 yards, while also rushing 14 times for 59 yards.
Harper earned first-team All-C-USA honors as a kick returner and was named preseason All-Conference USA at kick returner.
