NORFOLK, Va. – Old Dominion University senior center Nick Clarke was named to the 2018 Rimington Trophy Watch List, the Rimington Trophy committee announced on Wednesday. The Rimington Trophy is given to the top center in the country.
A three-year starter at center, Clarke has started 34 career games for the Monarchs, including 31-straight starts. He earned C-USA honorable mention honors last season and earned C-USA All-Freshman honors in 2015.
It is the third-consecutive season that Clarke has been named to the Rimington Trophy Watch List.
Clarke was one of five C-USA centers on the list, including Marshall’s Levi Brown, North Texas’s Sosaia Mose, UAB’s Lee Dufour and UTEP’s Derron Gatewood.
