NORFOLK, Va. – Old Dominion University sailing is in a three-way tie for third place after the first day of the Gill Co-ed Eastern Semifinals. ODU is hosting the event on the base of the Elizabeth River.

The division A team of Jeremy Herrin and Carter Little finished in seventh in their division, securing two top-five finishes out of four races.

The division B team of Jack Elkin and Stephen Guglielmo worked a second place finish in the division, notching top-five’s in all four races, including a win in their second race of the day.

The top-nine finishers of each semifinal move onto the Gill Co-ed National Championships beginning on Thursday. Tomorrow will be the second and final day of the semifinals.
