NORFOLK, Va. -- Old Dominion and William & Mary will meet for the second time this season, when the Monarchs travel to Williamsburg on Tuesday for a 6 p.m. showdown at Plumeri Park.
Back on March 28, William & Mary (13-20) defeated the Monarchs, 5-2, in Norfolk.
This will be the fourth consecutive road game for Old Dominion (10-20). Last weekend, the Monarchs dropped a series at conference foe Rice in Houston.
True freshman lefty Luke Krantz will make his first career start on the mound for ODU. Krantz will be the 10th different Monarch to start a game this season and seventh freshman.
ODU leads the all-time series, 83-53. Last year in Williamsburg, the Monarchs defeated the Tribe, 11-6. Culver Lamb hit a grand slam in the victory.
