NORFOLK, Va. – Five different ODU women’s tennis players garnered All-Conference USA recognition on Friday afternoon, as voted on by head coaches.Holly Hutchinson (Singles First Team), Nataliia Vlasova (Singles First Team), Victoria Olivarez (Singles Second Team) and Yulia Starodubtseva (Singles Second Team and All-Freshman Team) all earned individual accolades, while tandems Hutchinson/Natalya Malenko (Doubles Second Team) and Vlasova/Olivarez (Doubles Second Team) were also were honored.

Holly Hutchinson (Singles First Team)
The reigning C-USA Freshman of the Year and All-Conference First Teamer played in the No. 1 slot all season for the Monarchs. Hutchinson compiled a 14-9 overall record and went 5-2 against C-USA opponents. Hutchinson downed three nationally ranked opponents all in straight sets: No. 92 Zoe Douglas (Iowa), No. 107 Kristina Mathis (Dartmouth) and No. 123 Rosie Cheng (W&M). She led the entire conference for Athlete of the Week awards, garnering three, which was as many as any other team received for the year.

Nataliia Vlasova (Singles First Team)
Vlasova had another solid season playing No. 2 singles for nationally ranked ODU, as she went 16-3 on the year. She was named Athlete of the Week on 1/24.

Victoria Olivarez (Singles Second Team)
The UVA and Tennessee transfer made an instant impact in her one season in Norfolk, putting together a 17-3 singles record in the No. 3 and No. 4 spots. She also went 6-1 against league foes. Olivarez was named Conference USA Athlete of the Week on 1/17.

Yulia Starodubtseva (Singles Second Team and All-Freshman Team)
The true freshman put together the best record on the entire team, going 19-2 in No. 2 and No. 3 singles. Starodubtseva took down two nationally ranked players: No. 111 Meghan Kelley (UVA) 6-1, 3-6, 7-5 and No. 123 Rosie Cheng (W&M) 6-2, 6-4. Against Conference USA opponents in singles, she went a perfect 6-0.

Holly Hutchinson/Natalya Malenko (Doubles Second Team)
In doubles Hutchinson and Natayla Malenko went 8-3 in the No. 1 and No. 2 slots. The two went 4-2 against C-USA opponents.

Nataliia Vlasova/Victoria Olivarez (Doubles Second Team)
In doubles Olivarez and Vlasova went 9-3 in the No. 2 spot.
