NORFOLK, Va. – The No. 44 nationally ranked/No. 3 seed Old Dominion women’s tennis team (19-5) fell to No. 2 seed Rice (15-7) by a 4-1 score on Saturday afternoon in the Semifinal of the C-USA Tournament at the Folkes-Stevens Tennis Center.

The Monarchs find out on May 1 if they earned an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament.

Old Dominion won 11 of its last 13 matches, outscoring opponents 66-13 during the stretch. ODU also won eight of its last nine, while outscoring opponents 45-9.
