NORFOLK, Va. -- The Old Dominion women's golf team looks to repeat as conference champions this week at the Conference USA Championship at the Verandah Club in Fort Myers, Florida.
Action begins on Monday at 8 a.m. ET and then concludes on Wednesday. Live scoring will be available on GolfStat.
Last year, the Monarchs captured their first-ever conference title, finishing eight strokes ahead of Middle Tennessee at the Verandah Club. Individually, Maggie Simmermacher and Katerina Vlasinova achieved C-USA All-Tournament accolades with second and fifth-place finishes out of 55 golfers, respectively.
This year, the Monarchs enter the event in good form after finishing as runner-ups at the Brickyard Collegiate last week. Vlasinova posted a second-place finish individually, the best finish of any Monarch this season.
ODU returns all but one player (Rachel Walker, who is now an assistant coach) from last year's championship squad.
