NORFOLK, Va. - For the first time this spring the Old Dominion football squad scrimmaged at Foreman Field at S.B. Ballard Stadium.
The Monarchs ran approximately 85 plays and worked on special teams as well.
Steven Williams got the offense started with a 45-yard touchdown pass on a middle screen to Isaiah Harper.
Later in the scrimmage, Drayton Arnold hit Jake Herslow for 30-yards and Keion White for 25-yards, while Blake LaRussa hit Marcus Joyner for a 25-yard completion.
Matt Geiger, who moved from safety to running this spring, scored two touchdowns, while Gemonta Jackson punched in a touchdown from a yard out.
For the defense, Tracy White intercepted a pass, while Kane Miskel blocked a punt that Cameron Washington recovered.
