FREDERICA, Del. – The Old Dominion (3-7, 1-0 ASUN) lacrosse team defeated Delaware State (0-7, 0-1 SoCon) by a 21-1 final score on Saturday afternoon. 12 different Monarchs scored en route to their second win of the week.

Cydney Tutchton led the way for the Monarchs with four goals, while Sophia Richie tallied three. Tutchton tied her career-high four goals in one game. Richie has already tallied 19 goals this season, which passes her 18 goals for the 2017 season. 

The Monarchs got off to a hot start with goals by Tutchton, Richie, Lauren Irvine, Glory Johnson, MK Maloney, Hanna Breslin, Katie Miller, Sophie Powers, and Michelle Hallman.

Delaware State tallied their lone goal in the first half.

Three more Monarchs tallied goals in the second half in Lindsay Baer, Haley Rineer, and Grace McCrery.

Offensively, ODU took 31 shots, while Katie Miller took six shots. Glory Johnson had three assists and Claire Porter had two.

On the defensive side, Lauren Ey, MaryCate Markey, and Isabelle O'Connell all split time in the net.
