MURFREESBORO, Tenn. -- The Old Dominion women's basketball team fell at Middle Tennessee, 65-47, in the regular season finale on Saturday at Murphy Center.
Middle Tennessee (18-10, 10-6 C-USA) never trailed in contest.
The Blue Raiders carried a 33-19 lead into halftime. However, Old Dominion (8-22, 6-10 C-USA) opened the second half on a 12-1 run to cut the lead to 35-31 with less than four to play in the third quarter.
That would be the closest the Monarchs would get, as Middle went on to outscore ODU, 24-13, in the fourth quarter to seal the victory.
Ashley Jackson led ODU with 11 points.
