NORFOLK, Va. - Old Dominion University football practiced for the seventh time this spring this morning at the L.R. Hill Complex practice fields.
The Monarchs have now practiced seven times of their allowed 15 times.
During team drills this morning, ODU worked on short yardage situations, consisting of third and fourth down and two or less. In a hotly contested competition, the offense won 7-6.
Later in practice during team drills, the defense continued its theme of takeaways, with three more turnovers, including interceptions from Justice Davila and Geronda Hall, and a fumble recovery by James Valle.
The offense was highlighted by a 75-yard touchdown pass from Drayton Arnold to Isaiah Harper.
