LakePoint, Ga. – Lauren Ey was named the ASUN Defensive Player of the Week as announced by the organization on Tuesday afternoon. This is Ey's first ASUN Player of the Week honor.
“I am very proud of Lauren and excited for our defense as a unit as they all stepped up during our last game,” said head coach Heather Holt.
Ey tallied a season-high 13 saves on the road at William and Mary. The junior has a season total of 43 saves, which is ranked fourth in the ASUN this season. The Maryland native has played over 260 minutes in goal for the Monarchs this season.
