NORFOLK, Va. – Old Dominion University football will host its annual Pro Day on Monday, Mar. 12.
The 2017 ODU senior class will perform various drills in front of NFL scouts, doing such workouts as the bench press, 3-cone drill and 40-yard dash, as well as positional drills.
Brandon Addison, Ray Lawry, Bunmi Rotimi and Melvin Vaughn are currently scheduled to participate in Pro Day.
Addison is ODU's leader in pass breakups in a game (5), a season (11) and a career (21). In 2017, he had 40 tackles, three pass breakups and two tackles for loss.
The FBS rushing leader in the state of the Virginia, Lawry rushed for 742 yards and seven touchdowns in eight games in 2017, while catching 11 passes for 55 yards and a touchdown. For his career, he had 4,080 yards and 45 rushing touchdowns.
Rotimi became the second-straight Monarchs to be invited to the NFL Combine, which he will participate in at the end of February. In 2017, Rotimi had 29 tackles, 5.5 sacks and 7.0 tackles for loss. He ranks second in school history with 19 sacks.
Vaughn finished second on the 2017 squad with 33 receptions for 354 yards and a team-best four touchdown catches. He finished his career with 104 catches for 1051 yards and eight touchdowns.
